The Nigerian Youth Mentorship and Entrepreneurship Forum (NYMEF), Ebonyi State Chapter, has paid strategic courtesy visits to key Ebonyi State government officials as part of its efforts to strengthen youth development, mentorship, and entrepreneurship across the state.
On January 6, 2026, a delegation of NYMEF visited the Honourable Commissioner for Works, Ebonyi State, Engr. Mbam Stanley Lebechi. This was followed by another courtesy visit on January 7, 2026, to the Chairman of Abakaliki Local Government Area, Hon. Stephen Ebere Nwogba (JP).
During the visits, the NYMEF Ebonyi State Coordinator, Barr. Itumo Joshua Raphael, formally outlined the objectives of the organization. He explained that NYMEF is committed to empowering, training, mentoring, and developing Nigerian youths nationwide, with a strong focus on entrepreneurship and leadership.
He further noted that NYMEF has its national headquarters in Abuja, with active chapters across states and local government areas, all working collaboratively to uplift young people and promote self-reliance.
Both the Honourable Commissioner for Works and the Abakaliki LGA Chairman warmly welcomed the NYMEF delegation. They commended the organization’s vision and acknowledged its potential to empower youths, reduce crime, promote productive engagement, and contribute meaningfully to societal development in Ebonyi State.
The officials encouraged NYMEF to sustain its initiatives and assured the delegation of their moral support in advancing youth-centered programs.
The visits, led by NYMEF Ebonyi State executives and delegates from various local government areas, were aimed at fostering collaboration, seeking institutional support, and strengthening partnerships geared toward building a better and more inclusive Ebonyi State through youth empowerment.
