The event represents a groundbreaking convergence of government officials, private sector leaders, and youth change-makers — all committed to shaping a future driven by empowered, skilled, and visionary Nigerian youth.

This roundtable will address the real challenges facing young Nigerians — from unemployment to limited access to funding and mentorship — and propose practical, scalable solutions for skills acquisition, entrepreneurship support, and inclusive development.

The event will host prominent dignitaries including H.E. Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, Minister of the Federal Capital Territory; Mr. Seyi Tinubu, youth advocate; Mr. Silas Agara, Director-General of the National Directorate of Employment (NDE); Dr. Usman Nga Kupi, traditional leader and youth reform advocate; Hon. Speaking ahead of the event, the National President of NYMEF, Comr. Sahabi Mamuda Auna, stated that the roundtable is a “transformational moment for Nigerian youth,” emphasizing that mentorship and entrepreneurship are the foundation of any nation’s long-term prosperity.

“Nigeria’s youth must not only be seen but heard, supported, and given the space to thrive. This roundtable is not just another event — it’s a statement of intent. We are building an economy of young thinkers, doers, and innovators who will drive this nation forward,” he said.

Adding his voice, Ambassador Amoo Oluwasegun, the Spokesman of NYMEF, reaffirmed the organization’s commitment to equipping young people with the tools and networks they need to succeed.

“Our vision is clear — to create a generation that is self-reliant, innovative, and globally competitive. The National Roundtable is a bridge between opportunity and potential. It’s where ideas meet action and where youth empowerment becomes a national culture,” he stated.

NYMEF’s structure spans across the 36 states and the FCT, ensuring inclusive grassroots participation. With thousands of registered members, mentors, and partners, the organization continues to play a leading role in promoting entrepreneurship, digital literacy, and sustainable youth development across Nigeria.

The event promises to be a defining moment in Nigeria’s youth empowerment journey — where policy meets purpose and where commitment translates into impact.
