In a major step toward empowering young Nigerians, the Nigerian Youth Mentorship and Entrepreneurship Forum (NYMEF) has announced its National Roundtable on Youth Mentorship and Entrepreneurship Development, scheduled for Thursday, 13th November 2025 by 10:00 a.m. at Merit House, Maitama, Abuja.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The event represents a groundbreaking convergence of government officials, private sector leaders, and youth change-makers \u2014 all committed to shaping a future driven by empowered, skilled, and visionary Nigerian youth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This roundtable will address the real challenges facing young Nigerians \u2014 from unemployment to limited access to funding and mentorship \u2014 and propose practical, scalable solutions for skills acquisition, entrepreneurship support, and inclusive development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The event will host prominent dignitaries including H.E. Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, Minister of the Federal Capital Territory; Mr. Seyi Tinubu, youth advocate; Mr. Silas Agara, Director-General of the National Directorate of Employment (NDE); Dr. Usman Nga Kupi, traditional leader and youth reform advocate; Hon. Ayodele Olawande, Minister of Youth Development; Miss Risola Abiola, Director-General, Citizenship and Leadership Training Centre (CLTC); Hon. Bello Lawal, President of ALGON; Hon. Sesi Whingan, MHR Badagry Federal Constituency; Hon. Bello Ahmed El-Rufai, MHR Kaduna North Federal Constituency; Mr. Innocent Chukwuma, CEO Innoson Motors; Alhaji Abdulrahman Buari, Chairman, Nawa Nawa Rice Mill and Nawa Property Limited; Amb. Dr. Alewa Akawu, Chairman, Alewa Akawu Facilities Management Limited; Mr. Salihu Isah, software developer and AI expert; and Barr. Bello Bawa, initiator of the Agrilift Initiative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Speaking ahead of the event, the National President of NYMEF, Comr. Sahabi Mamuda Auna, stated that the roundtable is a \u201ctransformational moment for Nigerian youth,\u201d emphasizing that mentorship and entrepreneurship are the foundation of any nation\u2019s long-term prosperity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
